Meet Christine Cox – The Photographist
Christine’s goal is to artistically create a new context in which photography enriches our lifestyles and reflects the vast experiences of individual expressions. This is not the photography of old, but rather an entirely new creation from years of blending the creative arts into her own uniquely stylized elegant process. Her method captures the essence of what makes each of us unique in our daily lives, our families, our loves, our passions, what makes us laugh or cry . . . that is the ultimate journey.
Her formal training came via Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Ca plus The Academy of Art College in San Francisco, Ca, California College of Arts & Crafts in Oakland,Ca and Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco, Ca.
Some of Christine’s Award Winning pieces are listed in International Photography Awards (IPA) for Excellence in Photography and Digital Imaging/Effects as well as Black Book Raw Fashion Photography and Digital Imaging.
Christine has operated Christine Cox Photography since 2002, as well as working on other projects like the premier issue of Scene Magazine, New Orleans,La as Creative Director for Composite and Retouching and Freelance Photo Editor at Large for other issues. CUE Magazine also featured her Fashion Spread for their Mardi Gras Edition.
Her love for animals brought her to work on the Fashion Show benefiting the New Orleans SPCA as Photographer and Art Director for all Promotional Advertising Materials and Concepts, as well as bringing a new adopted addition to her family . . . of the four-legged variety.
Christine brings a rich background of formal training, cultural experiences and a life-time of inborn, natural creativity that flows through a truly one-of-a-kind talent reflected in her work.
